Ring Home Security

July 18, 2018

Protecting and monitoring your Oregon luxury home just got a little easier.  Ring, a company committed to reducing neighborhood crime, offers affordable home security for any home.  Learn how you can monitor your residential custom home with Ring’s video doorbells, security cams or home security system.

Video Doorbells

According to Ring, their video doorbells allow you to answer the door from anywhere.  Ring’s free app allows you to see, hear and communicate with visitors from your smartphone, tablet or PC anytime guests press your doorbell or trigger the built-in motion sensors. Instant mobile alerts, crystal clear HD video, infrared night vision and a weather resistant design make this a savvy front door option for any custom home.

Ring offers four video doorbells in multiple finishes, ranging from battery powered to hardwired with power over ethernet.

Security Cams

Like video doorbells, Ring security cameras are also equipped with 1080 HD video and two-way talk, allowing you to monitor your home from wherever you are, as well as speak to anyone on your property from your phone, tablet and PC.  Instant motion activated alerts, advanced motion detection and a 110-decibel siren alarm allow for swift responses to suspicious activity.

Additional features among the five camera models include ultra bright LED spotlights, a wide-angle camera lens, infrared night vision and customizable motion zones.  Power sources differ by model, varying from battery to wired to solar.

Security System

Ring’s latest product, a whole home security system, resides inside the home rather than out.  Recently released in June 2018, Ring Alarm is designed to protect the entire home without the traditional hassles of long-term contracts, moving fees or professional installation.

The Ring Alarm Home Security Kit is comprised of a Base Station, Keypad, Contact Sensor, Motion Detector and Range Extender.  It also works alongside Ring video doorbells and cameras.

As an Oregon custom home builder for over 25 years, we make it our practice to share about the latest home technologies whenever possible.  One of the ways we do this is through our monthly newsletter.
