Winsome Team Supports the See Ya Later Foundation by participating in their 13th annual Scott Banke Memorial Golf Tournament
The atmosphere was festive as the golfers took to the greens at the See Ya Later Foundation’s 13th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday at Michelbook Country Club in McMinnville, Oregon. The brilliant sunshine matched the high spirits of participants who turned out to support this amazing organization. Among the golfers were Winsome’s Shan Stassens and Matt Seagren.
The See Ya Later Foundation was founded in honor of an exceptional young boy, Scott Banke, who bravely battled cancer for two years before he passed away at the age of 12. In his life, this little boy inspired many with his upbeat spirit and love of life. The See Ya Later Foundation was founded to carry on Scotty’s legacy. Their vision is “…inspiring youth- encouraging families”. Their programs including youth camps, scholarships and the “Seeds of Hope” program that provides support for families who are in medical crisis, have touched the lives of many.
The golf tournament was wrapped up with a silent and live Auction to benefit the See Ya Later foundation programs and dinner. Winsome team members and guests joined Matt and Shan at the table sponsored by Winsome and enjoyed learning more about the See Ya Later Foundation programs and some exciting new plans that are in the works for a new “Champion Center” to be constructed in McMinnville, OR. Along with the items that Team Members won during the silent and live auctions, Shan and Matt were awarded backpacks full of goodies and awards for playing on the team that placed 3rd overall in the tournament. It was a wonderful event supporting an organization that contributes in dividends to our community.
