LEED Home Tour “Building Better Buildings” Event – Dec 19th 4pm-8pm

December 9, 2014

Local LEED Builder invites the public to tour a high performance home located in Pringle Creek Community, the most innovative Salem development.

Winsome Construction has an open house slated for 4pm to 8 p.m. Friday, December 19th, at 1884 John Muir Circle SE in Salem, OR. The open house is part of our “Building Better Buildings” event series where the public is invited to tour a recently framed high performance home. Wine and appetizers will be served, and visitors are encouraged to ask questions about high performance building practices and technologies, as well as learn about the Pringle Creek Community development.

“Visitors can actually see behind the walls and get an up-close view of an advanced-framed home. They’ll have a better understanding of what makes it different and better than a traditionally built home,” says Wendy Stassens, Partner of Winsome Construction.  The 2-story, 4 bedroom home is on track to achieve LEED platinum status, and is located in the Net Zero loop of Pringle Creek Community.

Inspired by nature, community and packed with innovation, Pringle Creek Community offers an unparalleled living experience in the heart of Salem.  High quality homes built to be healthy and safe, offer huge annual energy savings. It’s a serene escape with a meandering creek, walking and biking trails, orchards and year-round gardens. Community activities abound at Painters Hall, the greenest building in the Pacific Northwest.  This beautiful world-class community cannot be found anywhere else.  See more at www.pringlecreek.com.
